Federal DBaaS Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer specializing in DBaaS for the US Federal sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and manage DBaaS services for database infrastructure
• Design and develop APIs to enhance database availability, scalability, and performance across multiple clouds
• Support large scale database instances and participate in on-call rotation for database infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud-native databases
• 3+ years of backend development experience using modern programming languages (Golang, Python, Java)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Microsoft Azure
• 2+ years managing clustered, highly-available database services on Linux
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with modern DevOps technologies and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
