Job Summary
To support a federal client with system planning and analysis, the full-time Federal Financial Systems Analyst will manage the design, adaptation, and testing of financial systems while ensuring data integrity and stakeholder alignment in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analytical work required to design, adapt, and test financial systems in response to federal policy changes
- Manage system descriptions and data elements to maintain a "single source of truth" across the organization
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, fostering consensus among accountants, budget analysts, and IT teams
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (dual citizens not eligible)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design within a financial or enterprise environment (public sector preferred)
- Proven track record supporting the implementation, upgrade, or maintenance of large-scale financial management systems
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, document, and resolve complex data discrepancies across interconnected systems
