Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Grant Writer to support funding opportunities from the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and evaluate relevant grant opportunities from the DoD and other federal agencies
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the grant writing process, from concept development through submission
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure proposal alignment and accuracy

Qualifications

• Proven success in winning DoD or federal education/training grants
• 5+ years of professional grant writing experience, preferably with DoD agencies
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without extensive oversight
• Familiarity with federal funding systems (e.g., SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus
