Federal Grants Audit Analyst

Job Summary

To support federal grant auditing efforts, the full-time Federal Grants Audit Analyst will manage the reconciliation of audit submissions, perform quality control reviews, and track corrective actions in a remote work environment with occasional on-site meetings in the Washington, DC area.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile audit submissions and log exceptions within five business days
• Conduct quality control reviews on reports to ensure completeness and accuracy before resolution work begins
• Track corrective action milestones and prepare closure records based on grantee evidence of completion

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in federal grants administration, audit support, or related fields, including two years with single audit reports
• Working knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200, particularly Subpart F, and single audit reporting structures
• Proven track record of accurate document review against established standards
• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and certifications
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Federal Public Trust background investigation
