Job Summary
Based in Washington, D.C., the full-time salaried Federal Policy Manager will cultivate relationships with federal policymakers, monitor legislation, and support advocacy efforts to advance the organization's federal priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with Congressional offices and federal agency stakeholders to advance policy and funding goals
- Monitor and analyze federal legislation and regulations to inform organizational priorities and decision-making

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- 5-7 years of issues management experience in a political or public affairs environment
- Strong understanding of federal policy, legislative processes, and agency engagement
- Ability to analyze complex policy issues and translate them into clear recommendations
- Experience supporting advocacy events and stakeholder engagement programs
