Federal Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

Supporting a mission-focused team, the full-time Buyer II - Federal will create and issue requests for quotes, analyze supplier quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue requests for quotes for federal and commercial projects
• Analyze supplier quotations and manage internal customer relationships
• Prepare and place purchase orders while monitoring cost, schedule, and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of related buying experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6-8 years of buying experience in lieu of a degree
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required
• Experience with Federal (FAR/DFARS) procurement requirements
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively
• SAP Ariba experience is a plus
