Job Summary
Owning the opportunity-discovery and pipeline-readiness functions, the remote Federal Pipeline Manager & Proposal Writer will continuously source and document federal opportunities, maintain accurate pipeline records, and provide support for proposal writing and editing within the organization's business development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously identify and screen relevant federal opportunities through various procurement systems and platforms
- Maintain complete and current CRM/pipeline records, providing organized source documentation for business development evaluations
- Independently manage and write smaller RFIs, capability statements, and proposals while supporting larger submissions through editorial review
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of federal government contracting experience in opportunity research and proposal writing
- Current Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification at the Foundation level or higher
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and documenting federal opportunities through online procurement systems
- Working knowledge of federal acquisition practices and common solicitation structures
- Strong substantive editing skills with the ability to review proposal content for compliance and clarity
