Job Summary
Leading complex, high-priority federal proposals, the full-time Federal Proposal Manager will collaborate with regional teams, manage proposal development processes, and mentor junior staff while working remotely from various locations across the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams on proposal strategies, including RFQs and RFPs, while fostering communication and mentorship within the proposal team
- Manage performance and workload allocation to ensure quality deliverables and compliance across federal pursuits
- Lead proposal efforts from capture through interview stage, developing schedules, content plans, and facilitating color team reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of people-management experience with a focus on recruiting and developing talent
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Architecture/Engineering industry, particularly related to U.S. Federal clients
- Proven success in leading complex proposals valued over $20 million
- Strong writing and editing skills, with proficiency in desktop publishing tools and collaboration platforms
