Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing federal records management processes, the full-time NARA Records Management Manager will ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations while providing guidance to project teams and agency staff in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement contract tasks related to federal records management
- Provide technical and analytical guidance on life-cycle records management processes, including file plans and records disposition schedules
- Coordinate records depository and retirement services, including responding to agency inquiries and managing document scanning projects
Required qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- At least 5 years of experience in a federal records management environment and 4 years in a supervisory role
- Must possess a Secret-level security clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal records management laws and best practices
- Strong customer service and written communication skills
