Job Summary
Seeking a fully remote Federal Records Management Specialist, the candidate will manage the development and implementation of contract tasks while ensuring compliance with federal records management laws and providing technical guidance to project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement file plans, records inventories, and disposition schedules for both electronic and paper records
- Respond to agency inquiries regarding records and coordinate the retrieval of retirement submissions
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and project status reports
Required qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- At least 5 years of experience in a federal records management environment and 4 years in supervisory roles
- Must possess a Secret-level security clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge of life-cycle records management processes
- Excellent customer service and written communication skills
