Job Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing contract tasks, the full-time Federal Records Management Specialist will ensure compliance with federal records management laws and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement file plans, records inventories, and records disposition schedules for both electronic and paper-based records
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and agency staff regarding records management processes
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and project status reports while coordinating records retirement submissions
Required qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- At least 5 years of experience in a federal records management environment and 4 years in supervisory roles
- Must possess a Secret-level security clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal records management laws and best practices
- Experience in managing both electronic and paper-based records management processes
