Job Summary

Responsible for developing and implementing contract tasks, the full-time Federal Records Management Specialist will ensure compliance with federal records management laws and provide technical guidance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement file plans, records inventories, and records disposition schedules for both electronic and paper-based records
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and agency staff regarding records management processes
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and project status reports while coordinating records retirement submissions
Required qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • At least 5 years of experience in a federal records management environment and 4 years in supervisory roles
  • Must possess a Secret-level security clearance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal records management laws and best practices
  • Experience in managing both electronic and paper-based records management processes
