Job Summary
Providing comprehensive federal retirement and benefits counseling, the full-time Employee Retirement and Benefits Specialist will assist employees with retirement eligibility, options, and related benefits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide counseling on retirement eligibility, options, and benefits programs to employees
- Prepare and review retirement applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Assist employees throughout the retirement process and serve as a liaison with payroll and retirement authorities
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in federal employee relations and benefits consultation
- Experience interpreting and applying 5 CFR 752 and 5 CFR 432
- Proficient in developing federal employee relations correspondence for legal review
