Job Summary
Serving as a voting member of the Impartiality Committee, the contracted External Federal Risk Governance Expert will provide independent oversight on structural impartiality and governance risks related to federal cybersecurity assessments, operating remotely with a focus on ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, CMMC, and ISO/IEC 17020 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review high and critical impartiality risks presented by management
- Evaluate structural independence safeguards and separation controls
- Participate in periodic meetings and provide independent perspectives on governance and oversight risks
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity, FedRAMP, CMMC, or regulatory oversight
- Demonstrated understanding of federal cybersecurity assessment programs and independent oversight
- Familiarity with governance and oversight principles in regulated environments
- Ability to operate at a board or governance oversight level
- Independence from advisory revenue streams of RSI
