Federal Security Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Federal Security Compliance Analyst to oversee compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to governmental data processing in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed System Security Plans (SSPs) and verify their implementation
• Coordinate independent security assessments and lead continuous monitoring efforts
• Serve as the primary point of contact for federal customers regarding compliance and security issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and/or DoD Security Requirements Guide (SRG)
• Demonstrated history of planning and conducting security assessments
• Ability to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to collaborate within small teams in a fast-paced environment
