Job Summary
Managing industrial security compliance, the full-time Federal Security Officer will oversee personnel security clearances, facility clearance compliance, and classified information handling while working remotely to support a fast-paced software engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the lifecycle of personnel security clearances and serve as the liaison with DCSA and other security authorities
- Manage facility clearance and physical security controls, including access management and classified storage procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal security regulations and support program managers with security requirements for contracts
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance; TS or TS/SCI strongly preferred
- 5+ years of industrial security / FSO experience with a cleared defense contractor or government entity
- Deep working knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and DCSA processes
- Hands-on experience with DISS, NBIS, or equivalent personnel security systems
- Bachelor's degree in security management, information assurance, cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
