Federal Senior Subcontracts Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of subcontract specialists, the full-time Federal Senior Subcontracts Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of subcontractor performance, develop strategic subcontracting initiatives, and act as a business advisor for project teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor performance from solicitation through closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR and DFARS
- Develop and implement subcontracting strategies to enhance business outcomes and solve complex issues
- Lead negotiations and contracting efforts, focusing on terms, pricing, and performance metrics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of professional experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Extensive knowledge of various subcontract award types and compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Coupa, and Contract Lifecycle Management systems
- Proven leadership experience in a customer service-oriented team environment within a matrixed organization
- Expertise in supporting U.S. Government requirements, preferably with the Department of Defense
