Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Federal SOC Engineer Detect and Respond Analyst will design, implement, and operate security infrastructure while actively monitoring and responding to security threats across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects to evaluate, select, implement, and optimize security technologies, including SIEM and EDR solutions
- Monitor security alerts and perform incident analysis, including investigation and remediation of security threats
- Ensure adherence to security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP, while maintaining documentation of security architecture and processes
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship required due to Government client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training/certification
- 7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Systems Engineer
- 3+ years of experience with email security tools (e.g., Proofpoint) and CrowdStrike EDR solutions
- In-depth knowledge of AWS integration with Information Security methodologies
