Federal Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Federal Solutions Engineer will leverage technical and sales skills to prepare and deliver technical proposals, analyze customer requirements, and act as a customer advocate during pre-sales efforts to support Federal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers technical proposals and presentations tailored to the audience's business acumen
• Analyzes customer business and technology objectives, conducting technical discovery and architecting solutions
• Participates in pre-sales efforts including technical presentations, architecture design discussions, and solution demonstrations

Required qualifications

• Technical pre-sales and/or consulting experience
• Technical knowledge across Lumen technology pillars such as global network infrastructure and cloud capabilities
• Fundamental understanding of Unified Communications and Cloud & Architecture design (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Industry certifications in specialized technologies are a plus
• B.S. Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the private sector or military; must be a US Citizen
