Federal Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as a trusted technical advisor for Federal clients, the full-time Federal Solutions Engineer will translate complex technical requirements into actionable product recommendations, conduct product demonstrations, and support Account Executives in designing solutions, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Providing product presentations and demonstrations, creating deployment designs, and preparing responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
- Maintaining advanced proficiency across various technologies including video, phone, AI, and networking
- Translating technical needs into product development suggestions and advocating for customer feature requests
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer in pre-sales, with expertise in Unified Communications and related technologies
- Experience supporting technical sales in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments is preferred
- Working knowledge of federal systems and networks, including FedRAMP and NIPRNet
- Familiarity with SAML/SSO, firewalls, routers, and related technologies
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or OSCP are a plus
