Job Summary
To ensure compliance with federal security standards, the full-time remote FedRAMP Compliance Specialist will manage the implementation and maintenance of FedRAMP authorization programs, develop necessary documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of FedRAMP authorization programs and develop System Security Plans (SSP)
- Ensure alignment of controls between FedRAMP, HITRUST, and other regulatory frameworks while participating in ongoing recertification processes
- Assist in continuous monitoring of security controls, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Compliance, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk management, with at least 2 years in FedRAMP programs
- Hands-on experience with HITRUST CSF certification processes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- In-depth understanding of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP baselines, and HITRUST control mapping
- HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP) certification required
