Job Summary
To ensure the design, availability, and compliance of cloud database platforms, the full-time FedRAMP Database Administrator will manage database services, drive operational excellence, and support U.S. federal government cloud environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, and support of mission-critical database platforms, ensuring FedRAMP compliance and security
- Administer Oracle 19c+ environments, including managing complex database issues and performing upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery testing
- Drive automation initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance database capabilities and improve customer experience
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise or cloud environments
- 2+ years of experience supporting an additional database platform such as Azure SQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 Rev 5, and compliance reporting
- Proficiency in shell scripting for task automation
- Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
