FedRAMP DevOps Lead
Job Summary
Owning Orca's FedRAMP environment, the full-time salaried FedRAMP DevOps Lead will build and operate the federal environment, manage compliance automation, and represent the company to federal customers, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and operate the FedRAMP environment in AWS GovCloud and other platforms, including writing infrastructure code and ensuring production health
- Run continuous monitoring and manage authorization artifacts for the FedRAMP program, leading engagements with assessors
- Serve as the technical liaison to federal customers, translating requirements between security teams and internal development
Required qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with production ownership
- Deep expertise in AWS, including hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and automation using Python or similar languages
- Experience with FedRAMP authorized systems and familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5
- Excellent communication skills for technical discussions with federal security teams
