FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support commercial clients in preparing for Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) audits, the part-time remote FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert will advise on FedRAMP requirements, conduct gap assessments, and assist in implementing security controls aligned with NIST standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise clients on FedRAMP compliance strategies and conduct gap assessments
• Help develop required documentation and prepare clients for 3PAO assessments
• Provide technical recommendations for security controls in cloud environments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or PMP
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security with a focus on cloud security and compliance
• In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53 standards
• Strong project management skills and analytical abilities
