Job Summary

To support feminist movements, the part-time Feminist Zine Design Consultant will design and produce a 30-page zine that communicates a funding/resourcing roadmap, ensuring it is optimized for digital viewing and adaptable for print in multiple languages.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce a 30-page zine that includes analysis and examples of funding strategies for feminist movements
• Create a digital-native publication optimized for desktop and mobile viewing, with a secondary print adaptation
• Ensure all visual elements and layouts are developed without the use of generative AI tools and are adaptable for English, French, and Spanish

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in zine design or similar digital publication projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital-native zines or interactive publications
• Familiarity with feminist movements and funding landscapes
• Ability to create visually engaging and accessible content in multiple languages
• Experience working with diverse communities, particularly those from historically oppressed groups
