Festival Venue Manager
Job Summary
Managing the planning and execution of event venues for the Sundance Film Festival, the full-time Festival Venue Manager will coordinate logistics, liaise with stakeholders, and oversee event operations, primarily working remotely until the in-person Festival in January 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Act as liaison between venue owners, vendors, and employees, conducting pre-Festival meetings
- Plan space design and coordinate aesthetic elements with the Manager, Event Operations
- Oversee event operations, including managing seasonal staff and volunteers, ensuring successful execution of events
Required qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- 3 years of experience in event planning and venue management
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, including Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
