FHA Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a REMOTE Loss Mitigation FHA Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file HUD claims accurately and timely according to guidelines
• Reconcile final claim proceeds and correct errors as necessary
• Document all servicing actions, follow-ups, and maintain audit files

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; some college preferred
• One to two years of mortgage servicing default experience preferred
• Previous FHA claims experience preferred
• Understanding of the loss mitigation and claims process
• Ability to manage work to meet strict deadlines
