Job Summary

Responsible for filing all FHA Part B and non-conveyance claims, the full-time FHA Claims Specialist will manage claim submissions, follow up on payments, and ensure compliance with investor/insurer timeframes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • File all FHA Part B expense claims and non-conveyance claims, including CWCOT and SFLS, within required timeframes
  • Monitor attorney firms for timely submission of title packages and follow up on outstanding claim proceeds
  • Identify and resolve exceptions on suspended claim funds while keeping management informed of trends and issues
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in mortgage servicing or related fields preferred
  • Basic knowledge of FHA guidelines and default requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret legal documents and financial reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
