FHA Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Filing FHA claims and managing non-conveyance claims, the full-time FHA Claims Specialist will work remotely to ensure timely submission and follow-up on claims, monitor attorney firms, and resolve exceptions to minimize losses.

Key responsibilities:

• File all FHA Part B and non-conveyance claims within established timeframes
• Monitor attorney firms for timely submission of title packages and request extensions as needed
• Follow up on outstanding claim proceeds and resolve issues with suspended claim funds

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in mortgage servicing
• Basic knowledge of FHA guidelines and default requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and financial reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
