Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collateral Underwriter Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite 8-12 new appraisals daily, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines
• Stay updated on investor and agency guideline changes and current market conditions
• Manage appraisal pipelines and communicate necessary corrections with appraisers

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an Underwriter with comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage business
• FHA DE certification; DE with Renovations experience preferred
• Experience with Agency loan reviews and understanding of appraisal requirements
• Detailed knowledge of Collateral Underwriter and Loan Collateral Advisor
• Proficiency with Encompass LOS
