FHA Healthcare Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an FHA Healthcare Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet performance underwriting goals and manage borrower expectations for financing of loans
• Makes credit decisions within underwriting authority and prepares final loan underwriting recommendations
• Manages daily underwriting processing of assigned FHA-insured projects and communicates project status to team members

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field
• 5+ years of financial experience in multifamily underwriting in the real estate lending industry
• 7+ years of experience in FHA insured mortgages in a national arena
• 5-7 years of credit experience with handling large, complex, or specialty loans
• Must have MAP and LEAN 232 Certification
