Job Summary
To support the mortgage servicing team, the full-time FHA Loss Analyst will manage the quality control and oversight of claims filed, ensuring compliance with investor and insurer requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct loss analysis reviews to protect the servicer's assets and ensure compliance with insurer requirements
- Analyze and rebut insurer curtailments for government-insured claims, including loss mitigation and supplemental claims
- Compile claims data for audits and provide rebuttal responses to auditors' findings
Required qualifications
- Strong understanding of FHA, VA, and GSE claims guidelines
- Minimum of five years of experience in investor claims processing, auditing, and loss analysis reporting
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel knowledge
- In-depth understanding of government regulations related to claims filing and reimbursement
