FHA VA Licensed Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (FHA/VA).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite FHA and VA loans, as well as other loan types such as Conventional and USDA
• Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan statuses
• Assist with training and leadership within the underwriting team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of government underwriting experience
• Valid CHUMS and LAPP/Sar designations for FHA and VA loans
• Recent frontline underwriting experience within the last 12 to 18 months
• Experience with Conventional loans and familiarity with DU and LP systems
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
