Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III to manage loan underwriting and provide support to team members.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze loan submissions to make final underwriting decisions
Collaborate with Lending Teams to find solutions for challenging loan files
Provide training and support to team members while maintaining compliance with guidelines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred
5+ years of underwriting experience with conforming and non-conforming loans
Experience in the mortgage banking industry with Jumbo Loans and/or Government Products is a plus
FHA and/or VA Designations required
Technical proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and underwriting software
