Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Underwriters while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
• Manage the underwriting pipeline to maintain turn times and provide exceptional customer service
• Train and supervise personnel, providing guidance on loan processing and underwriting scenarios

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in underwriting preferred
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and investor/agency guidelines
• Government designation required (FHA, VA, FNMA/FHLM)
• Ability to utilize necessary systems and software for daily operations
• Experience in managing teams and promoting effective communication
