Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriting Manager - Retail Lending (East Coast).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite various loan types including conventional, jumbo, seconds, and government loans
• Develop and implement processes to enhance customer service and loan production
• Recruit, train, and manage underwriting staff while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active FHA (DE) and VA (SAR) designations
• Experience in managing an underwriting department
• Ability to monitor and manage employee performance metrics
• Knowledge of industry regulations and company policies
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
