FHIR API Engineer

Job Summary

FHIR API Engineer, a full-time position, is responsible for supporting healthcare interoperability initiatives through FHIR API integrations, vendor onboarding, and testing within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation and enhancement of FHIR-based healthcare interoperability integrations
• Collaborate with vendor partners to establish, configure, test, and troubleshoot API connections
• Assist with validation of FHIR payloads, API transactions, and endpoint configurations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of API and integration engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources)
• Experience supporting healthcare interoperability initiatives within payer or provider organizations
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration patterns
• Experience working with healthcare interoperability standards and workflows
