Job Summary

To support healthcare interoperability, the contract FHIR Integration Developer will design, build, and optimize data integration pipelines within the Oracle/Cerner ecosystem while working fully remote.

Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy secure FHIR endpoints and applications for real-time data exchange
  • Leverage Cerner Ignite APIs and SMART on FHIR protocols to integrate third-party applications into clinical workflows
  • Map clinical data elements from proprietary schemas into standard FHIR resources and ensure compliance with interoperability regulations
Required qualifications
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR standards (DSTU2, STU3, R4)
  • Strong understanding of Oracle/Cerner data models and APIs
  • Experience with SMART on FHIR, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
  • Proficient in SQL and backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js
  • Direct experience with Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) architecture is a plus
