Fiber Design Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Design Technician to support the design and maintenance of outside plant fiber networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document fiber routes, splice layouts, and hand hole placements
• Create and maintain fiber splice records and documentation in approved systems
• Coordinate with construction and maintenance teams to resolve design issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in telecommunications or fiber network design preferred
• Familiarity with fiber records systems or network design tools is preferred
• Strong understanding of outside plant fiber network concepts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
