Fiber Design Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Design Technician to support the design and maintenance of outside plant fiber networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document fiber routes, splice layouts, and handhole placements for service requests
• Create and maintain fiber splice records and documentation in relevant systems
• Coordinate with construction and maintenance teams to resolve design issues and support service activities

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Telecommunications, Outside Plant Engineering, Fiber Design, or a related field
• Working knowledge of OSP fiber networks, splicing concepts, and fiber routing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to adapt quickly in a production environment and collaborate across teams
