Fiber Engineer Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Engineer Specialist to design and manage the physical fiber path across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design routes for fiber-based services and provide design schematics for fiber projects
• Research existing databases for network design and ensure the accuracy of the fiber optic database
• Organize work efficiently and assist in achieving company objectives through related duties

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree in Engineering or equivalent Telecom network experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Visio
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com and GIS-based platforms is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to utilize database management software
• Basic knowledge of Fiber Network Design and work experience within the Telecom industry is preferred
