Fiber Engineer Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Engineer Specialist to design and manage the physical fiber path across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design routes for fiber-based services, including Point to Point and Ring routing
• Research existing databases for network design and fiber optimization
• Maintain accurate fiber optic database and inventory management systems

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree in Engineering or equivalent Telecom network experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Visio
• Knowledge of GIS-based platforms and database management software
• Basic knowledge of Fiber Network Design preferred
• Work experience within the Telecom industry preferred
