Fiber Network Mapping Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Network Mapping Specialist IV.

Key Responsibilities

• Document, edit, and manage Outside Plant (OSP) long-haul fiber networks and related assets
• Review engineering diagrams and translate physical information into accurate digital records
• Assist in ensuring the accuracy of field infrastructure assets and help resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge or interest in telecommunications construction techniques and fiber optic technology
• Proficiency with Google suite, especially Sheets, and ability to learn new software quickly
• Understanding of the importance of clear process documentation and technical guides
• Any exposure to fiber network management software (e.g., OSPi, Netcracker, ArcGIS) is desirable
• Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics or blueprints is a plus
