Fiber Networks Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Networks Specialist to oversee fiber installations and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Fiber Optic Network and related projects
• Ensure compliance with IT operations and network processes
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors on project requirements, costs, and schedules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside fiber operations
• Prior experience in industries such as electric distribution, fiber engineering, or cable service providers
• Knowledge of fiber network infrastructure and expertise in ADSS and OPGW fiber cable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools like AutoCAD and Visio
• Understanding of OSHA, NESC, and industry standards
