Fiber Networks Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fiber Networks Specialist, remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage the Fiber Optic Network and related projects
• Develop project requirements, costs, and schedules in collaboration with contractors and subcontractors
• Design scalable and reliable fiber solutions while ensuring documentation is complete and up to date

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of direct outside fiber experience
• Experience in the electric distribution or transmission industry, fiber engineering, or fiber installation
• Knowledge of ADSS and OPGW fiber cable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with drawing/document storage tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio)
• General knowledge of OSHA, NESC, and installation standards for fiber in power spaces
