Field Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Field Application Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support for customer high-speed I/O design, including assessments, design discussions, and hardware debugging
• Develop and deliver technical proposals based on customer requirements and system architecture
• Act as a field expert on high-speed I/O, providing training and guidance to the FAE team and creating technical articles and reference designs

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in high-speed serial I/O design within the high-tech electronics industry
• In-depth knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity simulation, familiar with relevant EDA simulation tools
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Experience in developing and delivering technical presentations to various stakeholders
