Field Applications Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with key customers, the full-time Field Applications Engineer will leverage their technical knowledge of semiconductor design to advise on simulation efforts, troubleshoot challenges, and implement solutions while supporting sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on simulation efforts and address technical obstacles to enhance their workflow
• Provide training and collaborate with customers to troubleshoot problems and propose tailored solutions
• Draft technical collateral and contribute to sales plans to ensure accurate representation of Silvaco's offerings

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Solid State Physics, or a related field
• 0-3 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, or integrated circuit design processes
• Experience with design, modeling, and/or simulation tools through academic coursework or industry work
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex projects with minimal oversight and deliver on time
