Field Applications Scientist

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic and innovative team, the full-time remote Field Applications Scientist will provide expert support to international customers, ensuring the successful operation of applications while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across various internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert support to international customers, addressing their applications needs and resolving equipment and software issues
• Lead and mentor junior staff, encouraging professional development and high performance
• Independently lead projects to support improvements in software application, control testing, and applications development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related area, or equivalent experience
• Over 7 years of experience in genetics and/or molecular biology
• Proven expertise in oligo synthesis, PCR, Real-Time PCR, nucleic acid purification, data analysis, and experimental development
• Outstanding skills in customer interaction and communication
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight
