Job Summary
To support federal civilian and defense agencies in modernizing software development, the full-time remote Field Engineer, Public Sector will partner with prospective customers to conduct technical discovery, run proofs of concept, and demonstrate the value of innovative coding solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and validation for new deals and expansion in collaboration with Account Executives
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with engineering, security, product, and IT stakeholders
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops to both technical and executive audiences, advocating for customer needs internally
Required qualifications
- Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting, preferably in federal or defense sectors
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its operational impact
- Hands-on technical fluency in workflows, AI tooling, and complex environments
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder maps and co-own initiatives with Account Executives
- Eligibility to obtain a federal security clearance, with active clearance being a plus
