Field Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in Brazil, the full-time Field Reliability Engineer will manage customer-facing managed infrastructure, oversee technical escalations, and contribute to open-source projects while ensuring operational efficiency across multiple AWS accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate customer-facing managed infrastructure, including deployments across AWS accounts
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer situations and production incidents
• Contribute to and maintain OpenTelemetry distributions and represent the company in the OpenTelemetry community

Required qualifications

• Experience with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, and deployment automation
• Strong background in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and observability issues
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and contributions to open-source projects
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, particularly in high-pressure environments
