Field Safety Specialist
Job Summary
Partnering with diverse customers remotely, the full-time Field Safety Specialist will conduct hazard and risk assessments, design solutions to mitigate risks using Grainger products, and collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Assess customer facilities to identify hazards and risks, positioning Grainger solutions to reduce them
- Create and validate risk-ranked implementation plans in collaboration with customers
- Stay informed on safety regulations and trends, educating customers on relevant technology and innovations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Environmental Science, or Public Health
- 3+ years of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety industry
- Experience conducting workplace safety assessments and hazard mitigation
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
- CSP certification preferred
